Really good wine and food pairing on a holiday night, always a good time at a Jose Andres restaurant. Not as magical as Jaleo was a few years back, but very very good.

Sat at the worst table in the restaurant so tight the server hit my water. Next to our table they stored the ice buckets and empty bottles of wine. This table should be eliminated. We asked to be moved and then we had a lovely time. No one should be subjected to that table even for 10 minutes

The food was mediocre at best. It did not come out in the order of the menu which was odd. The service was ok. Food was brought out with no serving utensils at times. Long waits in between some dishes. Not worth the price at all.

This is definitely a special occasion restaurant, and I really wanted to impress my favorite niece after our Christmas concert - TSO! Kitty was awesome!! He's been there for a few years he knew just how much to bother us, and how to help us navigate the menu. We did the classic tasting menu and it didn't disappoint! Everything about our visit set our Christmas off to a great start! And the host, Alexis, was amazing!!!

We so enjoyed our excellent service from Will and the whole staff. Favorites includes the Jose taco and the onion soup and the asparagus. Delightful.

The food and drinks were amazing. High points of the meal were the caviar cones, brussel sprouts, Spanish octopus, oxtail croquetas, and the carrot cake. The drinks were also excellent, specifically the sazarac and the foggy hill. Julian L was a great waiter, very charming and helpful with helping us make our selections. The service from all staff was top tier. Everyone was attentive and each element of the meal came out much quicker than expected, showcasing the overall efficiency of the restaurant. Overall a wonderful date night experience in DC that we loved and will definitely return for.

Hope it was an off night because we were very disappointed. We’ve been to many if not all of Jose Andres restaurants over the years. We had to walk around to find a suitable table, the server was snooty. Enjoyed most of the dishes except the Abalone dish had 2 pieces of Abalone the size of a finger nail, could barely find it in the chickpeas and sauce. The biggest disappointment was it was a birthday celebration which was indicated in the reservation and we got no acknowledgement during dessert. There are so many great restaurants in the area we won’t go back to this one!
