The Bath Arms restaurant and bar has the most amazing setting in Lord Bath’s magnificent Longleat Estate – yes, the one with the lions and giraffes – in the charming, historic Bath Arms hotel. The double AA rosetted restaurant is helmed by chef Chris Gregory who creates a menu of fresh modern British cuisine from ingredients either grown on the estate or sourced within fifty miles of the front gate. The emphasis at The Bath Arms on traditional preserving methods, like pickling, curing, potting and smoking, add some intriguing touches to the award-winning menu. The décor is just as delightfully traditional as you’d expect in such an historic setting. There’s a relaxed local-feeling bar and a smarter restaurant, plus sunny terraces front and back and a garden where you may choose to dine. Sunday lunch is super.

We were received in a very friendly way, and given a very nice large table inside, in a room which of which our group were the only occupiers. Everyone enjoyed their food: nicely prepared pub food with a good choice and very well served. A great experience

Very nice meal before going into Centerparcs at Longleat - would also be a nice pre or post meal after visiting the animals in Longleat Park! The fish and chips were nice but the duck in the salad was rather tough. Good service.
