   The staff was extremely nice, food was delicious, serving took a little long well worth the wait. A very experienced Dj kept us entertained.

   This intimate restaurant had a Dj vibe brunch, great food and friendly staff. The decor is like sitting in a Caribbean home. A must.

   The owner was very nice but our experience was not the best. We had a reservation for 6pm and we didn’t get seated until 7pm. We did not get our entrees until 9pm. They did advise us that a chef called out and we were patient but when the food came it was not the best. The candid yams seems that they were put in the bowl straight from a can. Have the chef season them up a lil. My dish was the Rasta pasta and when it arrived it was not hot at all. The server was kind enough to take it back and warm it up again. The sauce for the Rasta pasta was watery maybe thicken that up a tad. Hope my details were helpful

   The food and drinks were outstanding! The mac & cheese was spot on, and the oxtail empanadas were equally impressive. The drinks were fantastic as well. I will definitely be returning! The staff was wonderful too.

   Great service , cool comfortable seating. Food was overall very good. Rice in rice and peas was a little hard but green and sweet plantains were great. Chicken was flavorful and moist!!! Rasta Pasta was great and made slightly mild upon request! Let's not forget the yummy fried shrimp small plate and the jerk chicken tacos. For a carribean palate could have had a little more spice but yummy nonetheless.... 2 reasons hesitant to go back are small amount of seating so hard to get in and a little pricey but we will be back.    Always great food, great service, and friendly staff. If you like Caribbean-Sole food, or if you never tried Caribbean-Sole, you must try this place. Just the right flavoring, never over the top spicy. It is great to have a different choice of food on Main St. Farmingdale

   Great experience. Delicious food. Chicken soup was fantastic. Looking forward to returning. Love the ambiance and the service as well as the energy -- was fantastic. Intimate yet engaging.

    Outstanding. This was our 3rd time at the Barnyard. It seems that each time, the food gets better. The Jer Chicken tacos were fantastic, and Jerk Chicken dinner was the best. My wife had the Rasta Pasta. She loved it. The Barnyard has quickly become our favorite spot.
