The latest venture from restauranteur Chris Himmel and Executive Chef Robert Sisca, The Banks delivers inspired interpretations of coastal favorites and classic steak dishes in an elegant two-story space in the heart of Boston's Back Bay. Out experience was so much more than we could have hoped for! The ambiance was so festive! The table was perfect!! The food was to die for. We keep taking about the salmon Crudo and the Seafood! Amazing!!!! The sommelier, Hillary was so nice and informed! The server Camilla was the best!!!! Banks staff You knocked it out of the park! Happy New Year and thanks a million!!!! ❤️🥳🎆🕛🤸‍♀️ Corner round table at Stuart and Clarendon is fantastic! We loved the music! 🎵 🥁 🎸!! Be back soon! ❤️🥳

NYE prefix dinner was delicious! We tried everything! The jazzy holiday music was so nice to dine with and the service was fantastic. Looking forward to next year.

My Old Fashioned drink was average at best. We each had an Arcadian salad which was excellent. I highly recommend it. My scallops were good, and my wife’s salmon was OK, not as good as most other restaurants.Chocolate mousse cake was average. Not a very special experience.

The lobster rolls were a tad overcooked but the lobster bake was tasty. The clam chowders weren’t particularly special according to my companions who had them. The foie gras dish was beautiful. The dinner rolls were fluffy and lightly sweet. The coat check was very useful since we had winter coats on.

Food was delicious and our server was attentive and professional. Host/manager was somewhat aloof and was not inclined to seat us early even though there were open tables.

Was disappointed in the Dover Sole. Three of us order the Dover Sole and all three meals were overcooked - dry inside and tough on the outside. The manager asked us how our meal was when we started and told him not good. He said he would let the kitchen know. Took two glasses of champagne off the bill and a discount. Would have preferred a Dover Sole cooked correctly! They call themselves a seafood restaurant- the chef should know how to cook fish! Will not go back.
