   Went for Sunday lunch, had the big 4 meats and a Veggie wellington. All the portion sizes were good One of us had a burger. We all ate everything. It was nice but nothing tasted wow, Dessert best for me the maple and pecan sticky toffee was right up my street. Staff very pleasant, nice venue with lots of seating in and out Plenty of people came in as we were there. Kid friendly dog friendly. Cost was probably on Par for the area. If I went back the fish and chips looked good so would try that.

   Waw sat next to my friend whilst eating rather then opposite so could not really have a conversation TV was far to load as football was showing Not really appropriate for a pub serving Sunday lunch. Won t be returning in a hurry

   Welcomed as we went in, shown to table ….which was besid3va very hot radiator. Asked server if we could move, which was fine. Served quickly and efficient. Meal served after 10/15 mins…hot plates, hot food and very tasty. A very nice Sunday roast in a nice friendly pub..

   Always a great experience, lovely helpful staff and such a banging atmosphere! Food is 10/10, perfect place for a roast or just nibbles.

   I went for Christmas lunch with a friend and the food was disappointing and not to the usual standard of their pub roasts and meals. My starter (crab crumpet) was OK but the main was below par. Not a great selection of vegetables and cauli cheese would have been nice. Whilst there was a generous saving of roast spuds, they were quite stodgy in texture. 3 carrots and lots of Brussels. One small pig in blanket and a tiny portion of stuffing. For the price I don't think this was worth it which is a real shame. Service and ambience was good though.
