   The staff really tries hard but it still is a just ok restaurant in a just ok mid town hotel Fine for theatre going If I were seeing a play at the theatre next door I would definitely go again but not for any other reason

   We dined at an off time but the service was exceptional and the food generous and delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary . We were greeted with complimentary champagne and a note of congratulations. After dinner 2 warm and delicious chocolate chip cookies were just the perfect way to end our meal. We were served by Isabella who could not have been more lovely .

   One of the few nicer happy hours that goes til 7PM, this sweet new addition to the theater district is an appealing one. Friendly staff, beautifully designed, fun food choices and cocktails. The Pre theater menu is a great buy and a lot of food. We will definitely be back!

   Julio is one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Made sure we made it in time to our show and provided best service. He was friendly and attentive. Every server should aspire to be like him.

    As I write this review of Alderman, I realize that I can't just write about the food, but I have to write about the whole experience. Because that's what Alderman is, it's an experience. From the food and drinks, to the service, to the ambiance, this place is a hidden gem in Time Square. I'll start with the food and drinks. I began the day at the bar with an Espresso Martini, and it was so good that I stuck with it all day. My friends got other drinks and everyone was happy with what they had. To begin our meal we had the Biscuits with Butter and Jam. Both were delicious. We also shared the Baked Eggs, Avocado Toast, Overnight Oats, and Fig Parfait. All were really tasty. Now, for the service, I could not have asked for anything more. The staff was attentive and friendly. They really made us feel like they were happy we were there, and that they were happy to serve us. Finally, the ambiance. I really enjoyed the quiet, understated elegance of the restaurant. I felt comfortable while feeling like I was in a high end establishment. It was perfect. I had a great time at Alderman, from start to finish, therefore I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
