   I can’t believe in a busy New York City Times Square hotel restaurant the level of service, personal attention and classy touches. This restaurant provides its patrons. No less than five servers stopped by our table to say hi and ask how we were doing and check on us. The prices are fair, and the selection are varied.

   The Alderman is a classy but relaxing hidden gem near Times Square and several theatres. We visited last week and had a fantastic meal! From cocktails, appetizers of smoked duck breast and Parker House rolls, and entrées of sea bass and skirt steak, everything was served quickly and was delicious (we were too full for dessert, sadly). Our server, Kara, was fun and gave great recommendations, and did a phenomenal job taking care of us! Although we weren’t going to a show the night we visited, I saw that they had a pre-theatre menu that includes appetizers, salad, entrée and dessert, so that’s something we’ll keep in mind. There was also a bar area with comfy seating. We’ll be back!

    My mom and I were at the bar attended by Francis, who was the epitome of a service and kindness. He gave us great advice on the special selections on the menu, and made sure we loved everything we ordered. Superb service. Excellent food and drinks.
