    Chef Annie’s love for cooking started when she moved to the United States in 2012. She thinks about food all day; what it looks like, what it tastes like, and most of all, how it makes people feel connected and content. For Annie, cooking is a passion, a legacy, and a bridge. Cooking is a way for her to feel joy honoring her mother and her first home by serving the people in her new community. That is why Annie and her husband Ryan, a Rochester native, created ThaiPop. It is a labor of love to bring two homes and two worlds together in one place, to honor all who came before by serving all who gather today and tomorrow.

    I have had many Thai food and visited restaurants, and this is by far the best Thai restaurant in the Midwest, or dare I say, the U.S.

    Our group of 5 really enjoyed everything from cocktails, appetizers, dinner & dessert. The service is excellent and they atmosphere is incredible. I appreciate the vegan and gluten free options!

    The food and service was outstanding. According to my noise meter app, the noise level was over 85 db, so if you like loud and energetic, this is your place. If you want to have conversation, particularly one on one, maybe not.

    One authentic place in Rochester. The food never fails to impress. The server was very patience with us ordering multiple rounds of shots and drinks. A true mom and pop shop that try to shop local products as much as they can. It’s a must stop in Rochester!! Keep up with the great creations Annie

    Great place for lunch! Our server was amazing! She had great suggestions! The food was amazing, and the portions were great. The flavors tased fresh, you could tell the food is made daily with fresh herbs! There was so much we ended up boxing up part of it to take home!

    Amazing food and service! I love seeing the place packed because it means just as many others are loving the magic that Annie and her staff deliver each and every time. Had the calamari and can’t stop thinking of the accompanying sauce, so goooooood!
