The warmth of the Hacienda Teya Restaurant in the heart of the city of Mérida, Santa Lucía. We are a Yucatecan food restaurant, with a legacy of more than 25 years, we have 2 magical outdoor terraces for you to spend a wonderful stay, surrounded by an atmosphere between trees and nature that gives us that characteristic atmosphere of our beloved Hacienda Teya.     Desde la recepción el personal fue poco amable. Nos hicieron esperar y cuando entramos el aforo era pequeño. No había razón para hacer esperar a los clientes. El servicio fue lento y desganado. La comida fue ordinaria y preséncialos 2 mesas quejándose amargamente del lugar y el servicio. No lo recomiendo

    Demasiada fama para el pésimo servicio. Pedimos entradas (sopas) y plato principal (cochinita, poc-chuc para compartir al centro) que llevaron al mismo tiempo. Las sopas calientes. Pero el plato fuerte tibio, pedí que lo regresaran mientras terminábamos las sopas (el mesero de mala cara), se lo llevaron y lo volvieron a traer (se tardaron) helado!!! Se lo volvieron a llevar y tardaron más en volverlo a traer caliente. Mi percepción es que dan solo atención a mesas grandes y extranjeros… qué pena. Jamás regresaré, ni lo recomiendo. Hay mejores opciones, con mejor sabor, precio y servicio.

    Sin lugar a dudas un lugar que no te puedes perder si vienes a Mérida. El lugar muy bonito y la comida espectacular. La mezcalita de naranja refrescante lo mismo que el agua de lima con una hierba típica de aquí. La sopa de lima y el síkil pak de pepita deliciosos. Yo pedí lechón y saboree cada bocado, lo mismo que el queso relleno. Tendré que volver para probar más delicias yucatecas. El arroz con leche de coco y el flan para cerrar con broche de oro. Muy recomendable. Seguro volveré.

    Stunning venue and excellent service. The real gem is the food, particularly the balam ceviche with its Chardonnay citrus marinade. I also ordered the sopecitos de pato (duck confit sopes) and the corn dessert. Both delicious. My only tiny complaint was that the corn foam on the corn dessert took up too much real estate on the plate and it was my least favorite component of the meal. Despite that, you should absolutely order the corn dessert - the cornbread and cornbread ice cream are so so so good!!! I don’t think you can make a bad choice when ordering off this menu.
