   We came to celebrate my wife's birthday while visiting Ruidoso. The hostess was very friendly and quickly made sure to wish my wife a Happy Birthday. We were seated in a section that is tucked away from the restaurant, near the kitchen. I'm not sure if the hostess thought we might want more privacy since it was a birthday but the only downside to this space was that it was very quiet and no music. While my wife was in a celebratory mood, it kind of brought her down since it was so quiet. So something for the restaurant to keep in mind when seating for future birthdays. Overall, our food was very good and we really liked how our steaks were cooked. Our waitress was friendly enough but seemed more about getting the order in then making sure to highlight the birthday celebration (we overheard the hostess tell the waitress). We did get a comped dessert but again, no mention of a happy birthday to make the dinner feel special.

   We love the Texas Club and have eaten there for years/. But, our recent experience with friends in from California was not as good as usual...2 hrs and 45 minutes is too long to eat. We were in no hurry but that's just too long. Kim did a great job, as usual, and the steaks were delicious but 2:45 is too long for a meal.

   Esta bonito el lugar, las meseras muy atentas, solo que el tiempo en darnos la mesa tardo demasiado ya que teniamos reserva y fue de 35 minutos, mas el tiempo de llevarnos los alimentos otros 45 minutos, creo que se saturo, la comida es buena, solo esos dos detalles.

   Outstanding experience. The only thing was that the restaurant was not accepting the OpenTable reservation due to it was so crowded, fortunately we arrived on time and only waited for 15 minutes.

   From the moment we stepped through the doors, the experience was outstanding. We were promptly greeted and seated without any wait, setting a positive tone for the evening. Shortly after, our drink orders were taken, and the service was seamless. Allura, our waitress, was an absolute delight. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the entire meal. We all ordered steaks, and each one was cooked to perfection juicy, flavorful, and exactly as we had requested. Every bite was a testament to the care and skill of the kitchen staff. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it the perfect setting for a special New Year’s Eve dinner. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Texas Club, for creating such a memorable dining experience!
