   The service was excellent—it was unexpected that the staff would be so attentive to our business meeting. Will definitely put this at the top of our dining engagement list.

   It's a small place with mostly high tables. The food was very good and very filling. We also had a great waitress. The Google site says "business casual" for attire—don't believe it. It's a pub. We were overdressed. Everyone else was in jeans and sweatshirts.

   Food was great. Portion size was good. Service was fast. Our server , I which i remembered his name, was fabulous! Would go back just because of him but the food was great too. The dinning area was much smaller than I had thought but it wasn’t crowded so that was ok. If you’re celebrating a special occasion this is a great spot.

   Wonderful selection of beer! Something for everyone and not too IPA heavy. Only appetizers this visit, and all three paired nicely with the beer. Spatzel, pelemeni, and pork belly. It was hubby’s birthday so he got to pick. We did have to send the pork belly back to be cooked a bit more. Once it was fired properly it was excellent. He had a different stout with each app and thought the Milk stout was great with the spatzel. Service was excellent!

   I appreciate that Tent City has so many gluten-free options. They've also added some items to the menu so I tried the salmon filet sandwich, and it was delicious! The gluten-free bun was buttery, more like a biscuit, and not at all the dense, spongy texture I've come to expect from gluten-free bread. I would ask for that option when ordering a burger in the future. My friend had the excellent halibut and chips, which may be the only gluten-free fish and chips available in Anchorage. Service was friendly and our server took the time to talk about new items on the various menus. I would definitely recommend Tent City for lunch, dinner or brunch on the weekends.
