   The food and drinks were amazing but the service was so poor, the worst part is I think they have no idea it’s so poor the maitre d was terrible, he has no idea where the servers were we started with a waiter who was nice he brought a glass of wine to the table and a chefs starter then forgot water and my husbands beer. We managed to flag a waitress down and she chased the drinks but maybe 15 minutes has passed. No one checked on us we had to ask for bread even though all the other tables had bread no one asked if the food was okay or if we wanted another drink. Then after the meal our plates and the two tables near us were left with dirty plates in front of us for over 20 minutes. In the end waved down someone (no idea who was serving us at this point - seemingly no one) to pay the bill and they put a 15% service charge on…. For possibly the worst service I’ve had! Incredible! A real shame as the food was really great. I feel bad for the waiters as they were very busy the two maitre d type people seemly did nothing and just stood about. Super bizarre experience.

   Fantastic evening, made even better by the service received by the waiter, he knew the menu through to support with a garlic intolerance. The food was traditional with a twist and was great value for money. Highly recommended and we would come again next time we visit Budapest.

   The restaurant was absolutely wonderful. The service staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely dining experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Budapest that is interested in a cultural experience.

   Asked for seltzer, received more expensive filtered water. The check arrived with a request for a tip on top ofthe 15% service charge. Not all restaurants are so brazen!

   Only seats available were at the bar but I think these were as good, if not better than a table, very spacious bar top and no feeling of being a 2nd class citizen. Small menu but all beautifully presented and well cooked. Only comment would be that the wine list is challenging to understand unless you are Hungarian and even then it just lists wines and growers ( I think..) a bit more information on grape types and wine styles would be useful

   Superb dining experience. We both had the tasting menu. Every course was excellent. Full of flavour and decent sized portions. Will definitely return.

    Nice interior. Good taste, over toasted bread, board waitress. Not honored for Michelin recommendations for brunch.
