   The view of Pine Island Sound is magnificent especially at Sunset. Carol is an excellent server. My favorite place for a nice dinner and I always take out of town guests there.

   Excellent food, very helpful server, prompt service. The noise level was uncomfortably loud, due to a particularly loud party of 6 at a nearby table, but otherwise it was a very pleasant experience.

   We have been coming to your restaurant for many, many years. It has always been extremely good. Last night's experience was the worst ever. Our service was deplorable. We waited 15 minutes to be visited by our server and another 20 minutes to receive our beverages. My Caesar salad was brought about 3 minutes before my entre. I sent it back because of the timing but it was still on the bill and we requested that it be taken off. The table next to us was extremely, extremely loud. We could not begin to hear ourselves (6 of us) talk. We have reservations again for the day after tomorrow for another party of 6 and we make need to re-think this!

   3/4 of us had the Catch of the Day special which was triple tail , excellently prepared and presented. Our server, Carol, was courteous and knowledgeable recommending a perfect cabernet wine to go with my Coq au vin. We love sitting on the porch and this Open Table makes it so easy to reserve ahead of time.

   Our birthday celebration for my husband’s 82nd birthday was great. The view, the ambiance and the food were all special. We have eaten at the Tarpon Lodge several times and are never disappointed. The service is always top notch and the food is delicious. We will continue to enjoy our special dinners there in the future.

    We have dinner here every time we visit Matlacha. Food is always great and the ambience is perfect. Wonderful water view that adds the perfect touch. Will definitely be back next year!
