   This is the second time I’ve been to Sweet Marie’s. Lindsey and her staff deliver impeccable service and delicious food. The first time I went was with a British friend who gave her seal of approval and felt like she was right at home. For a celebration or just a nice afternoon to relax I highly recommend Sweet Marie’s!!

   Such a cute place for tea, the only issue was that I was highly allergic to the space and could not stop sneezing so we hurried to leave. I’m only allergic to mold and dust mites per allergy testing, and there was quite a strong air freshener scent so I wonder if there is a mold problem in the space. They’re moving spaces soon, so hopefully it’s a moot point.

   This was the cutest cottage and tea experience. We came in to Newport for a holiday trip and came across Sweet Marie’s as a fun idea. We lucked out in getting reservations. Hope we can visit again and experience at the new location!

   The tea and food was wonderful and service pleasant. But the chairs were very uncomfortable and the seating felt slated due to uneven floor. Also our table was right in the middle of the room and very crowded and unpleasant. Maybe new location will be better but did not really enjoy the tea because of this.

   Lovely little place, fun to go for a special occasion. The staff are friendly & service is good. It's a cute little place - I hope the new (bigger) space they are moving to is just a quaint!

    Our high tea service was wonderful! Lindsay, the owner, and her team were so attentive and kind! The food was delicious and the tea itself was steeped to perfection.
