    The Sweeney is always a lovely place to visit. Apart from the excellent food and service, it's a stunning building surrounded by beautiful gardens in the stunning countryside. It's always a pleasure to visit, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

    It was rather noisy as we were given a table next to 2 large groups of people. Had to go to the staff area to find someone to pay our bill Food lovely. Would be nice to be given a sweet/biscuit with tea/coffee at end of meal

    Had the most delicious lunch at The Sweeney Hotel on Friday 13th December . We were greeted by very welcoming staff and I have to say the service was first class. We had the focaccia to start which was just delicious followed by Turkey roast dinner and a Xmas burger. The food was delicious and generous portions. We will be back early in the new year.

    We had a beautiful Sunday Lunch.Couldn’t fault it.The service was excellent.Will definitely eat here again
