Swagman Country Dining brings you a true taste of Australia with sumptuous, meats and vegetables infused with unique and wonderful flavours of Australian bush herbs and spices, the majority are grown on the property. Our concept is proudly brought to you by the vision of Sandy Retallick who was inspired to use native bush plants to create unique flavours. The Retallick family have dedicated the last two decades to rewilding much of their 600 acres of land and preserving native species of both fauna and flora. Chef Di and Chef Yulius work passionately in collaboration with Sandy to bring this vision to fruition by developing irresistible flavours to Swagman. Our wonderful front of house and kitchen staff play an important role in bringing you a memorable experience.

We had a great experience here at the swagman country dining, the food is top class and the chef is very personable and our waitress was right on the ball given she was very busy. Great spot, great food and service. Hurry up and book!

Lovely walk with my toddlers to see the wildlife followed by delicious Lamb Roast in peaceful restaurant with nice view.

Restaurant with great Country views. Local produce and home grown ingredients used. Table of 6 all meals served at the same time. Great wine menu also. 25 minutes from Victor Harbor.

The food was delicious, the ambience was calm and quiet, value for money and a walk around the grounds after lunch added extra value. I will be back.
