   I come here every year to celebrate my birthday with my family. Excellent quality as fresh as can be, excellent service and very polite, atmosphere is either nice and quiet or low depending on how busy. If you don't go here, you are missing out, seriously. Though pricey, so come here for important events and such. I have been coming here my whole life and I am going to say that this is the best sushi place I've ever been to. 11/10 every time. Perfect. Everything is perfect down to the last minute detail.

   Food was great but had issues with the bill. My bill came, I paid, then my server brought my bill back and said they forgot to charge me one beer, so she gave me a new bill that was more money. I consider that bad customer service and wish they would’ve comp’d the beer instead.

   The dining experience was excellent and all our dishes were fantastic. The kitchen made an error but our server Miwa recovered well and provided stellar service, even offering us complimentary dessert because of the mishap. We’ll be back very soon!

   The best sushi in San Diego, no debate. The miso seabass is one the best things I’ve ever tasted. Wagyu is phenomenal as well.

   The best sushi I have ever had! Service was extraordinary food was unbelievable. Great wine selection ( I’ll do sake next time). Food was fresh, with traditional preparations. BRAVO Sushi Ota

   Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had in San Diego. The staff was friendly and appropriately attentive as well. I’ve previously visited Japan and this restaurant transported me back as if I was back in Japan. Lovely restaurant, delicious food and calm ambiance
