Great for brunch

Step inside and you realize that everything is a whole lot easier to love with that island feel Survey Café provides. Time slows down , couples young and old bring dogs big and small to sip coffee, pick at muffins, and forget about anything other than the current moment. Just another sunny Florida morning at the Survey Café.

Loaded with Old Florida history, The Survey Cafe is a quaint, indoor and outdoor café set in the heart of scenic Downtown Bonita Springs. With a relaxed atmosphere, outstanding food, and good prices, this place is one of our absolute favorites on for breakfast or lunch. Live music on Sunday brunch is an absolute pleasure .
In season dinner are served Tuesday evenings through Saturday evenings and the French flair floats over all the items served . Do not forget to check the menus on the website as they constantly evolve .

I love that you can get this quality of cuisine in such a casual environment. lovely hospitality and service. It's French, so yes, most dishes are pretty rich. I had the escargot. It was so good it made me high. For our entrees, we had salmon and duck. Both were good. Duck was two leg quarters instead of a half. Even though I would have really appreciated breast, it was still really well made and enjoyable. Yummy house-made desserts. I'm looking forward to going back. Definitely want to try them for breakfast too!

This is a hidden gem and one we will go back to. Great service, delicious food, cute atmosphere and an all around adorable little spot! Do try it if you have the chance!

Lovely experience the surroundings are awesome, and the server was beyond belief. The best service we’ve had in southwest Florida. The food was OK. It did not reach the level we expected for French food, but the entire experience was worth the trip. We’ll go back.

We enjoy Survey Cafe every time we go. Our server at dinner, Melissa, was very attentive and friendly. The duck and lamb shank are delicious. It is a wonderful place to enjoy outdoors dining in comfort. We also go for breakfast and lunch whenever we have the opportunity.

We have been to survey Café for both breakfast and dinner and have always found food, service and ambience to be just what you would want in a French bistro. We lbooked a reservation for Saturday night at 6:30 on July 6th via open table. It was accepted and confirmation was asked for prior to dining. The website page also indicated they were serving dinner on Friday and Saturday night. So imagine our surprise when we drove up to the restaurant on Saturday night and it was closed. In calling the restaurant the next day, they apologized. I told him we had driven 30 minutes and that open table and the website needed to be updated. As of today, Tuesday, July 8th, the website still indicates dinner service on Friday and Saturday and I was able to make a reservation for Friday, July 12th. This is such a simple fix and was such an inconvenience. I notice others have made the same observation. I also believe it would have been gracious to extend a discount or some other compensation for their poor communication. I will certainly return because this is a special place but this was a very basic mistake.

a liitle late but a response , sorry . i was away a lot of the summer . i do not know your name and cannot write to you by it . i know that we called and apologized and again it was a stupid a thoughtless mistake .
