   The food was delicious. The service was great. The restaurant was clean. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Drinks are delicious. They have mocktails as well. Definitely will be back.

   My wife and I shared the tiger shrimp tempura (appetizer), it was very delicious. She then had Yuzu Tuna and said it was VERY good but portion was too small. She helped me finish my NY Strip steak, very well prepared with rice and some sauteed greens= quite tasty! To finish up we then shared a desert called Ridiculous. Best described as vanilla ice cream encased with a kind of ginger cake, smothered in a caramel like syrup and candied walnuts. All that plus 4 cocktails, 2 hours (roughly) and $250 (including tip) later made for a very memorable experience. Definitely worth it in our case.

   Every time we visit Nashville, we have to visit Sunda. The food quality and attention to detail is absolutely impeccable. The servers and rest of staff are always attentive and caring. The filipino food month menu specials were a great added bonus to an already delicious menu. We always share a handful of items when visiting, and this time was no different. The pork belly steamed buns, toro sashimi, curry scallops, and red dragon roll were perfect for us to share and be full. We were also pleasantly surprised with a delicious filipino dessert to end the night. Do not sleep on Sunda. It's amazing.

   Went there mostly for the toro nigiri, but had some other great apps. Sushi Chef gifted us some mackerel nigiri that was also delicious. Always have a good experience here.

   Sunda never disappoints! Took my best friend and his wife out to Sunda - their first time! Could not have been better! Kaleb was our server and he was helpful and attentive. Got a variety of things and enjoyed the top-shelf Toro and Uni! Sushi chef brought out the plates then decided to surprise us with a plate of pickled mackerel! Sooo gooood!!! What a treat! Did not catch his name, but got to thank him in Japanese! Can’t wait to come back!

   We became regulars here because we love so many of their dishes. We also like to sit at the sushi bar because it gives us a chance to meet and become friends with the sushi chef, Ee-say (don’t remember how to spell it, but that’s how it’s pronounced!). What a great guy too! Once he sees you a couple times he starts to surprise you with a dish or two. Something special that’s not on the menu. It’s so much fun trying these bizarre and delicious combinations! Last night we brought our 32 y/old daughter for her 2nd time, and she said it’s the best she’s ever had in her life! Truly a wonderful dinner!

   As before (This was my 3rd visit.), the service was A+ and the food delicious. A little bummed as portions were small for 2 of our appetizers, but the size of the Scallop entree was perfect. The TASTE and FRESHNESS was outstanding for the sushi. And the suggested sake was, again, "right on." Glad we made reservation as it was packed for a Sunday night. Definitely a "special occasion" place with the prices and the beautiful ambiance and extra special service. Thank you, Sunda!
