    We would have given a five in all categories except my steak was not served when it was taken off the grill because it was Luke warm when it was served. We were greeted by the host who saw we had a disability and seated us as close as possible to avoid any unnecessary walking. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant. He was friendly, very inviting and attentive. He made us feel very comfortable and important as out of town guests.

    We had a nice dinner bc it was a graduation dinner. But service was very slow. And we got potatoes at gratin that were completely cold. They microwaved the same dish for us instead of bringing a new one and they were awful and still cold in the center. We told the server but they were still on our bill. Usually Sullivan's will do something nice to the dessert if they know you are celebrating a special occasion and they didn't do that.

    We went to celebrate a college graduation. The service started out ok and then quickly went downhill. Not attentive, messed up appetizers, cocktails and filet. Food was cold and tough after being sent back. Definitely not worth the money and took forever when the restaurant was not very busy. No servers came back to check in on anyone. Once desserts came it took forever for them to come back, the meal was 3+ hours long as we were sitting a very long time. Very disappointing.

    Our dinner started out well, drinks, appetizers etc. We placed our order and a team delivered our meals all at the same time and that’s where things took a turn. Of the five of us, two ordered steaks. The steaks were so salty they were barley edible; one person had a salad with chicken added as her protein. The chicken was rock hard like it had been over microwaved. Our service did not come back to the table within a few minutes of our food being delivered to check and “make sure everything was okay”. When he finally came by the table we had almost finished our meal. When I asked him about the salt level on the steak, he got defensive and said “we should have said something, and he could have fixed it”. I explained to him that this is the first time we had seen our server since our food was delivered to us. There was no offer of a discount or anything. All that being said, this was our first and last time at Sullivan’s!

    We enjoy Sullivans approximately 5-6 times a year. Consistently a wonderful experience. Last night not so much. Filet was slightly overcooked but I realize it can take but 30 seconds to go from medium to medium well. After the second bite realized it was dry. No problem they quickly prepared another which was definitely medium. Hot mostly pink center. Issue was it too was dry. My assessment was quality of the meat. I didn’t say anything about the second filet as my wife was done with her excellent crab legs and it was time to depart. We will go back but I’d be remiss in not pointing this out. Nearly forgot we were given free dessert (cheesecake is excellent) to compensate for the first filet.

    Sullivan's is a great restaurant, with great food, and service, and you see they care about customer service, but when it's busy, or a holiday, their kitchen takes a dip in service/quality. Getting food an hour and 20 minutes after ordering is not ideal (busy or not). Not to mention it took 15 minutes to get the drinks we ordered. This last visit we had to return the calamari because the flavor was not great, and it was overcooked. The steak was not cooked well either (warm in some spots, but cold in others). Respectfully, if I'm paying $90 for a steak, I expect it to be perfect. When spending more than $200 on a meal for two, I expect the quality of everything to be better. I've been to Sullivan's several times, and I feel it's either very good, or just mediocre. They really need to speak with their kitchen staff IMO.

    We visited last night for our anniversary dinner, and from the moment we walked through the door, we were met with genuine warmth and hospitality. As soon as we gave the hostess our reservation name, she immediately began wishing us a happy anniversary, setting the tone for a truly special evening. When we arrived at our table, it was more than I could have imagined—rose petals scattered across the table, a handwritten note wishing us a happy anniversary, and a private spot with a beautiful view overlooking the dining room and kitchen. It was absolutely perfect. Aundrey was our server, and he did an exceptional job. I never had to ask for a thing—he anticipated every need before I even realized it. His attentiveness made the entire experience feel seamless and effortless. The cost is more than justified by the outstanding service and thoughtful touches throughout the night. This has officially become our go-to spot for special occasions!
