    The food, as always was great. Our server was awesome. He took such great care of us, and was so enthusiastic, and was truly amazing.

    Terrible service, plates were served at different times we have to wait 10 minutes to get the apetizaer for the second person and the first person couldn’t start. Plates were not taken away promptly when finished. I got my coffee when I still have my plate with filet mignon . In general Plates were served with no care to how they looked I am super disappointed

    My husband and myself went to Sullivan for first time. Everything was wonderful, food was excellent service was good the only little disappointment was we asked for more bread once the food came out im guessing our waitress forgot other than that was a great experience.

    Steak was cooked medium rare as requested with a peppercorn topping. Baked potato was not very hot but rather luke warm as was the creamed spinach. I had a dirty martini and requested blue cheese olives and of the 3 olives only 1 was stuffed with blue cheese..the other 2 olives had nothing in them. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Over all dining experience was only mediocre because 2 of the 3 items ordered were not hot.

    We have been to Sullivans many times in both the bar and dining room. While the bar is always great with excellent service by the bartenders and a great bar menu, the dining room is the opposite. The staff always seems in disarray, and the entriees are reduced to average. This particular night, our server was far more attentive to his trainee than our table. When I order a $100 bottle of wine, I do not expect the waiter to give a lesson to the trainee about how to poor wine for 5 mins while I sit with an empty glass. Just poor the damn wine and walk away. Also, do not lose our take home containers and disappear for 20 minutes before determining the have been pitched. This was aggravating, yet no manager came by to apologize.

    We arrived a little before our reservation and were seated immediately. Questions we had were answered promptly by our waiter either because he knew the answer or obtained the answer from the bar or kitchen. We had to ask for some of the menus that we saw on line like the fixe prix and children's menu. All of our food was excellent. My only caution would be to be aware that some of the items offered by the waiter had an up charge that was not disclosed.
