   This is one of those looks better than it actually is places. Ordered 2 of the $30 non alcoholic drinks those were good but realistically should’ve been maybe $15-20. I saw food coming to other tables before I ordered and could tell by the appearance that the food wasn’t going to be very good. So we ordered a burger meal with an extra set of fries to have something. The fries were all cold and over cooked and the burger was bland. A friend had the wings, the looked as dry and kindling. Don’t go for the food, get a pretty drink or dessert and eat your meal elsewhere.

   Last night my partner and I, a gay couple, were very disappointed and hurt by how we were treated at your Tampa location. We scheduled the reservation and clearly noted it was a Birthday dinner for two. Not only were we made to wait 30 minutes before seated despite the reservation, they forgot to assign a waiter at first so another 30 minutes before we even could order drinks. He didn't even introduce himself, he just walked up with a pad of paper after we told the woman in a suit that no one had spoken to us since we'd been seated. I mentioned it was my partners birthday to the man and I put it on the reservation. We watched as the staff sang Happy Birthday to 6 other groups and did not sing to us. Did not say happy birthday at all in fact. The female photographer photographed both groups to the left and right of us, heterosexual couples, and didn't even ask my husband nor myself if we wanted portraits taken. I even made eye contact as she pitched the two couples directly to our right and smiled, as I was excited to get our photos taken. She didn't smile back, she looked away with an annoyed/disgusted face and made a point to avoid us as she walked to the next group on the other side of us to ask. She purposefully walked around us, and treated us like less than human. We wanted to buy pictures, it was his Birthday dinner, but we weren't even allowed to get photographed. I watched her address every single hetero couple and ask as we were blatantly ignored/excluded from being allowed to be photographed. It was pretty clear that celebrations between gay couples aren't welcome/celebrated here. It was clear that any gay couple is going to be completely disregarded and treated poorly by the servers, the hostess, and the photographers as we were. We tipped well despite all this and didn't cause a scene but you ruined my husband's birthday and alienated us completely for what we feel were very discriminatory reasons.

   The server was rude and he just placed the bill without being asked for it yet . It was like slamming the cheque right at our table even though it took almost forever to get the drinks out and even to get a table in spite of having a reservation. However it's more of an eye pleasing kinda place ..just fancy and nothing else

   Place was nice and food was decent. The server was horrible. He was very rude and forgetful. Not once did we receive a refill of water. He also forgot about or drink order

   Our service at the Sugar Factory last night was awful. We had reservations for a special event and were very disappointed. The server took forever to take our order and once he did he was so short and had no personality. During ordering he also said they didn’t have several items on menu. Took 30 minutes to get a drink and over an hour to get food and it came out couple items at a time. Our group was starving and couldn’t get any food for over an hour. Took 35 minutes to finally get a beer and then they say sorry it’s warm let me give you a different one. Only beer they had cold was Modelo. Speciality drinks took over 45 minutes to get. Our server was unattentive and had way too many tables. He didn’t seem to care much about our party of 7. The meal took way over 2 hours and this was at 11:30pm at night. Very disappointed

   We enjoyed our food and service and truly enjoyed our strawberry shortcake cheesecake skillet the most! I took my parents there to celebrate their retirement. They had a great time! The venue seemed small compared to other Sugar Factories...plus, having to fight cigarette smoke to get inside was horrible. We didn't know it was located inside the Hard Rock casino.

   Alexandra was absolutely fantastic. We had her 3 weeks ago and had an awesome experience. The rainbow sliders were a bit undercooked but otherwise it was fantastic

   When it opened, the environment had potential, but like many other places, this restaurant has not kept up with its interior. To protect their flower display, they screwed plexiglass over the whole wall, but it was not fitted properly and was popping out over the table, exposing a large amount of dust. In a few different spots, you can see where someone spread chemicals to clean but left the spray and food on the wall above the table you eat on. While the physical appearance was very worn and dingy, the food was the same quality. The sesame chicken stir fry tasted as if the chicken was frozen and then microwaved, dry, chewy, and stringy. Quality does not even come close to the prices they charge. With all this, two patrons had a loud and boisterous altercation. The restaurant did nothing other than call for hard rock security. We were there to celebrate a last-minute dinner celebration for my husband's 30th. Still, instead, we had to watch an aggressive verbal altercation, which had a man yelling for them to “get security before I handled it my damn f***ins self because you have a damn White woman doing nothing.” After the altercation calmed down and people stopped yelling, the restaurant waited about 10 minutes and began to blare the music so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you. I left a nice tip for our waiter because everyone needs help and he can't control how the restaurant is run. We will never go back or recommend this place again! It's run down and needs to be replaced.

    Our server, Promise, was barely present. We saw her probably 15-20 minutes after we sat down. And then it took 30 minutes to get our soda order. We had no silverware until I had to flag a hostess down to help. She came back with to go silverware- they ran out of silverware and linen. We ate with plastic.
