   If you decide to go here just be prepared for it to be a novelty. The food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced ($36 for one of the non alcoholic specialty drinks). We made a reservation for 6:00 and showed up 5 mins early but didn't get sat until 6:15. So with two kids hyped on a sugar factory experience, it was a bit much to handle by waiting that long. Then they add 20% to everything on the bill as well so just be prepared

   We went to the sugar factory, to celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday in Chicago. She saw the rainbow brite dessert on line and was sold. The first strike was the 20% gratuity, the second was, the drinks and dessert was delivered and he brought the check! Third, Lots of little kids crying! Dishes being dropped, and not one employee was happy or smiling. Our margaritas were not flavorful and certainly did not have teramana tequila in em, as the menu said. It was speed rack tequila! I will not go back!

   The food was not great and definitely not worth the price. You’d be going to this JUST for the experience of having a huge overly sweet drink with dry ice. It’s cool to watch but the price…$$$$. We made a reservation but arrived 30 mins early. The restaurant was practically empty, that should’ve said something, but they wouldn’t seat us until it was our reservation time. There were only 4 tables that had customers! And waiting there is just annoying. A big portion of the candy bins were covered up with a photo background prop. Our server was nice and very patient with us. The menu had tons and tons of drinks but the print was so small you could barely see it, especially with the very dimmed lighting. Do yourself a favor and walk away from this place if you’re considering it. Buy yourself some dry ice, juice, your choice of alcohol and then throw some gummy candy in there. Voila! You’ll have the same type of drink, but ten times cheaper. Save your money.

   The drinks were absolutely beautiful, fun and delicious. Watermelon Pina Colada was so delicious ☺️ Will definitely stop there every time I’m in Chicago!! The atmosphere was so fun, a child’s birthday party was going on in another section and it was absolutely amazing and fun to see. Definitely a great place for birthdays (even for adults)!

   Service wasn't that great. Overrated. The furniture was ripped, which was not impressive. The fries were extremely salty. The sliders were super dry. They charged extra money on extremely small whiskey because it was made as an old fashion!!! and the worst of all, the waitress didn't acknowledge it was a BIRTHDAY celebration until after the 300.00 bill she gave us. They showed no enthusiasm with the birthday enhancement they offered. Definitely will not return to this location.

   We were put in a side room with a large party with a lot of kids running around and screaming. It took awhile to finally order but the food did come fast. There was a floatie in 1 cup of water and my alcoholic drink was unconsumable. I got a sorry, new bartender. Would not recommend.

    Overall our server was great…. I was taken by surprise that we were charge 20% service fee and told by the waiter that it doesn’t go to them. It goes to paying every hosts hourly wages and if we did extra tip he would then get that . Like WTH….. don’t be shady like that to the poor waiter. Also don’t tell me toward the end and why do i have to pay everyone’s hourly pay, prices are already high. I felt bad for the waiter because he was great and of course gave him extra . However Wouldn’t go again base on the companies ethics of charging us even more because they have to pay hourly wages not my fault.
