   Somewhat new restaurant. We are big on bourbon so I guess we expected more than what they had. Food was not too bad but nothing to write home about.

   We ordered the “special blend” bourbon and I didn’t like it. We sat next too another table and they were extremely loud. It was quite difficult to carry on conversation at our table. As always the food was excellent

   Great place for a elevated but casual dinner. Some chose to do restaurant week and others chose not to. Everything was very flavorful some of the food was a little cold. For example, the gravy on the chicken was just a little clumpy. The fried chicken was superb. Drinks were well balanced. We had the maple crème brûlée and it was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Server was on top of it and did a great job overall. Would go back forsure.

   Always a terrific experience; good and service is excellent. A pleasant surprise that our 5:30 reservation involved happy hour pricing. Since we eat here a decent amount, we hope to see some changes to menu but everything on it is great!!!

   Immediate seating on arrival with prompt attention from the wait staff. The drinks arrived rapidly and were delicious. The appetizers were quite good. Gumbo was the best I've had in maybe forever. A hot chicken sandwich with a side of pimento cheese grits left me fully satiated with no room for dessert.
