   We came for the Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner and it was indeed wonderful food, well presented (although a little pricier than we're used to paying). The problem was the interior table they showed us to was centered between the music speakers and a party (emphasis on the word party) of eight quite near. We ended asking to be moved outdoors, but there aren't a sufficient number of heaters to take care of everyone out there, so we were a little colder than we're used to being while dining. Service was top notch.

   It was good food and good cocktails however they had so many additional charges a health charge a mandatory tip charge a surcharge a tax charge. Six people went to eat and it was 450 bucks.

   Love it! The Study Hall has a great ambience, the drinks are well crafted and the Brussels sprouts are excellent! Go here for a casual & visual celebration 🥂🎂

   Strike 1: When I arrived at the restaurant at 4:57 pm for my 5 pm reservation, the host asked me "do y'all wanna be seated now?" which was SUPER unprofessional in my opinion. not just how he asked but yes. I do want to sit at the time of my reservation. Strike 2: I waited 10 minutes at the table without being greeted or offered water by my waitress. She took our drink order and then we didn't see her again for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I'm watching the table who was sat AFTER us get their drinks & food before I ever got my first beverage. Strike 2.5: I had to flag down ANOTHER waitress to complain about being there 30 minutes without a drink. She said "Sunday's are just a bad day to come." like I didn't realize the service i get is dependent on the day i come? She then proceeded to get my order wrong. I ordered the garlic parmesan truffle fries, and i got regular. AND ITS SUPER HARD TO FIND MY WAITRESS OR ANY OTHER SERVICE STAFF FOR THAT MATTER. Strike 3: The food was absolutely garbage. The spinach artichoke dip was underseasoned, the wings were skimpy, and it took us ANOTHER 30 minutes to get a 2nd round of drinks. Won't be returning. So many better rooftops in the area. This place is definitely for people who haven't worked in the service industry and don't know the difference between good and bad service. Maybe if I don't come on a Sunday it'll be better? but that just shows a lack of standards across the board.

   This restaurant is a delightful place to watch the sunset, enjoy the view of Berkeley from above, and have a pleasant meal. A perfect place to take out-of-town guests to introduce them to the delights of Berkeley!

   Waiter was forgetting our requests for things like extra napkins. Took substantial time between our food and beverage requests. The bartenders were quick but the orders weren’t getting in. Not the usual experience for this place.

    I really enjoyed visiting. The food was excellent. The only thing that was an issue for me was how loud the music was inside. Initially I was sat inside and my table was very close to the table, it made it hard to hear the person I was eating dinner with. I did ask to be moved outside and luckily a couch was available for us. The view was amazing and the music wasn’t too loud outside. I enjoyed it and would definitely come back. I really enjoyed the fish n chips and the truffle fries. Please consider lowering the volume of the music inside a tad. The customer service was excellent. The staff were very accommodating.
