We went for the Thanksgiving dinner. It was difficult to figure out how to get seated for dinner. They seemed understaffed. Once seated, the service was relatively speedy. The dining room music was painfully loud. The $40 dinners arrived very cold. They were tasty . We weren't told until we'd finished that we could have had second helpings on the meals. Not wanting to impact our movie time, we just ate it. The dessert was excellent! We again struggled to find out how or when we'd be seated for the movie but did eventually. The movie theater was nice and the movie played without issue. The staff were very nice. Note: One party member is disabled and an ambulatory wheelchair user. Assessing the site, the bar/restaurant area looked difficult to get a power wheelchair through, and the distances were walkable, so they opted to walk. The wait to be seated with only tall barstools available to sit was excessive for them to stand for that long.

I had a reservation at 5pm, there’s no hostess so everyone passes by you without asking if you need help. When finally talked to someone, they told me it would be a minute to have my table ready. 40min after we got seated. We were starving but I kept seeing people seated just waiting for food. Asked the table next to us and they had been waiting over an hour for the food. We canceled the order and left. Pretty bad experience.

The restaurant, bar, kitchen, and theater check-in was understaffed and over-booked. The poor staff were running around like crazy. The restaurant had 1 person seating customers, taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables, with bar staff trying to help when they had a minute (but they were busy with orders from the sold out theaters too). My family waited 2 hours for the all you can eat Thanksgiving dinner (which we made reservations for weeks in advance). It never arrived in the restaurant. So, as we planned, we split and went to the 2 different movies, where we received a plate of fairly cold food, which didn't even include all the items promised on the menu. The restaurant bar staff had to show us our theater and seats because nothing is labeled/numbered (nice idea for a "concierge" theater experience by staff intensive). I spoke with the owner about our poor experience, eating our family dinner separately after hours. He said 2 staff had called in sick. (Far more than 2 staff were needed to manage the reservations and theater capacity they allowed.) He said he'd get us free passes for the future then never connected with me again and did not respond to the message I sent via their website. VERY POOR customer service/planning by owner.

Bartender was rude to anyone who approached the counter. The manager was rude to a woman who he’d sold to under false pretenses and refused to make it right, even on a holiday. The waitress handed us a sheet of paper to choose what would be on our plate when it was supposed to be a buffet. The advertisement for this meal had said “and much more” but there was nothing more than the items they’d listed. In fact they had less than normal. Half their cocktail menu was unavailable, and the options that were seemed to inconvenience the bartender. At the prices they charge for a basic drink, it should be served with class. Usually the food is superb but the entire ambiance was thrown off by miserable staff.

Loved the place, food delicious and movie area was very chill and relaxing. The service at the tables was very slow. I had to go find someone to take my order. Need more servers.

Our experience at studio one was very enjoyable. We went on a Sunday for brunch and live music, it was comfortable, the ambiance was relaxing and cozy. The food, service and live music were great! We can’t wait to get back and check out a movie experience there.

We love Studio One! The steak & the halibut specials were fantastic! We show up 25-30 mins before the movie, get seated quickly & have plenty of time to order. The wine by the glass or bottle list is really next tier compared to anywhere in Portland metro. Great date night!

It took three requests at the bar for someone to give me a menu to order food and drinks. Consider I was one of two couples sitting in the live performance area, there was no excuse for poor service. First and probably last time I’ll go there.

It’s very over priced. We got the sliders and they got our order wrong so we had to wait to get the right order. When we got them the bottoms of them were so greasy it made the bread soggy. Service was very slow. Our table was still not cleaned off after we left after the movie was done. Movie theatre was great though. Cute atmosphere. They just need to work on their front end.
