   Having never dined at a Michelin star restaurant, this was a bit of a disappointment. The food was ok - of the courses, we only really enjoyed two of them. When we were brought bread before our courses, there was a piece of clear plastic in the whipped feta that I had to spit out… we didn’t mention it to the staff because we were hoping to move on and enjoy good food. Instead it just felt like we were waiting an awkward amount of time for the next course to arrive. The whipped feta and bread was good at least. The courses seemed creative but my partner’s complaint was that nothing actually was very good. I was a little more forgiving than him and liked the creativity of the dishes, but had to agree that some of the courses just weren’t worth finishing. We both enjoyed the sea bass and the beef tartare. I think the sea bass was really the star of the evening for us. Dessert was ok but not memorable - I liked the ice cream served with it. My husband is someone who devours sweets and he did not finish any of the dessert we were brought. It really felt like we were stuck at this place forever. I understand waiting to let food digest but the courses aren’t huge and it started to feel like we were behind held hostage there waiting for the next course. I believe we were there for ~2.5hrs. On a better note, the staff was attentive and our waters were never empty. The bottled water they serve is fantastic. Overall didn’t seem worth the $600+ we paid for two people. We have restaurants in our home state that have outshined this experience.

   Amazing food, great service but I’ve never been to a Michelin star restaurant with such a poor ambiance. At first, when I saw the inside of the restaurant, the dining room, I thought we’re at the wrong place and wanted to leave. I’m glad we stayed. Everything else was great!

   As a traveler from Cincinnati to Miami, I am always looking for the next best restaurant in the cities that I visit. I stumbled upon the Stubborn Seed on the Michelin list and upon further research, I knew I had to give it a try. I was very relieved to find out they were open on a Monday evening. I sat at the bar alone and I had opted for the higher end 10 course tasting menu. The bartender was very attentive, witty, and friendly. The courses came out in a perfectly times manner. My sage cocktail was fantastic. Let’s get to the food. Each course had a gorgeous, clean presentation. Everything was absolutely delicious. Some dishes were so creative and you could taste the quality of the vegetables in each dish. I also appreciated the different textures. I could tell every single dish was very well thought out. I wish they sold a pint of that heirloom tomato sorbet… wow! Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience. With one Michelin star, I expected the best food and service and I absolutely received that. I would love to return in the summer as the menu changes with the seasons. Thanks so much for having me! I can’t wait to be back. Your team was exceptional.

   Second time visiting Stubborn Seed. Inventive menu utilizing the kind of ingredients you hope to enjoy at a restaurant of this caliber. Service was friendly and attentive. Experience of +\- 3 hrs for 8 courses on a Monday felt slow as opposed to leisurely and the space is very loud even though it wasn’t full, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

    Awesome food, beautifully displayed and served. Quite a unique dining experience and a voyage to that treats the taste buds. Small portion sizes - as they should be for a tasting menu.
