   The food and service is always excellent. Barry at the front door always nice and Nick the bartender/server was the best.

   Very disappointing experience. Restaurant has consistently declined over the years. It seems the simplest requests are often met with difficulty by the Employees. One of the visits we ordered take-out. We asked for bread. Upon checking the order before we left, we noticed we were missing the sides, & the bread and were charged $3.95 for it. We spoke to the server about the issue. She didn't even apologize for the error or offer any solution. She told us they charge now for the bread. We said but we didn't get ANY bread with our order. We were so appalled that we just left. So, today we decide to give it another try only to be disappointed once again. I ordered French Onion Soup. The Soup was served after the Entrees. Might I add, this has happened twice before on my visits as well. We also asked for the tails to be removed from the shrimp. Again like the other times this was not done. The food was just okay. The size of the Sea Scallops were about half of the size they usually were. The portions were definitely much smaller and more expensive. The table behind us also had an issue with their order. Staff needs re-training! The host (Male) had a bit of an attitude from the moment we arrived. We requested a specific table. At first, instead of accommodating us right away he said that section isn't open yet. I explained we didn't mind waiting/sitting at the table until it was opened. He finally allowed us to be seated. Then again with an attitude he asked me what was so special about that specific table. It's not what he said but how he said it. We felt he was NOT a good fit for his role there. The Restaurant had a very strong musty/mildew odor especially when the A/C went on. On the way out over by the Wine Racks it was also very strong. The carpet needs to be replaced by flooring that can be cleaned and sanitized daily. The A/C also needs to be serviced/Cleaned Regularly. No manager was present on this visit. We will not return to this restaurant. Disgusting!

   Kyle our waiter was amazing! Very friendly and attentive. He speaks French and it was a pleasure for me to talk about France with him. Service was great, food was delicious. It was our first time there and we will definitely come back!

   Service was lacking. The server also got one 9f the meals wrong. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant and will return and Don live in the area.

   We love Stonewood and have been coming for years. Last night was just plain off. We had bruschetta and it was fine but we ordered pork chop special and it came partially undone and potatoes cold and carrots hard. We sent it back and chop came back well done. My husband ate it because our company had already finished eating. If we were alone I would have sent it back. My friend suffered through a very disappointing Asian salad. All in all a disappointing evening food wise

   We've eaten here numerous times in the past, and the service and food have generally been excellent. While service was excellent this time, and the rest of the food was, too, an entree of blackened yellowfin tuna was a little too salty for my taste. I didn't complain to our waitress, since I didn't really notice the excess salt until partway through the dish, but the next time I order that item I'll try the plain wood-grilled version, which I would hope should be okay.
