   Our experience at Stonewood was disappointing, to say the least. This was our first time dining here, and unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The filet mignon was nothing special, lacking the flavor and tenderness one would hope for. Additionally, the fries tasted like cardboard, making the overall meal subpar at best. We were hoping for a spectacular dining experience, but sadly, it fell short.

   Had a reservation for party of 6 at 6 pm. Sat immediately and didn't wait too long to be approached by our server who never introduced himself and seemed distracted. Slow service throughout was really highlighted when he never placed the order or brought a drink from the bar, food took over an hour to come from the kitchen, tried to serve a kids burger that was 3 nuggets of meat covered in cheese, lukewarm food, and for the finale disappeared when it was time for the bill. While we were not in a rush, it left the birthday meal feel cheapened with the poor service and long waits. Overall we were there for more than two hours, no dessert and no pause in ordering from arrival. There was no manager in sight and our server must have been working a back room party because he wasn't to be seen either. Ambiance is great, if you can stomach the lousy service and food.

   The waiter was very good his name was Paul excellent food came to the table cold both dishes We at your other locations far superior Jacksonville, Ormond Beach love them Daytona location insane my opinion it’s true large of a restaurant and they cannot get out the food good and hot I’ve had the pork chops. I’ve had the chicken. I’ve had. The prime rib never had enough. The drinks are very good though. How can you screw up a drink so I’ll never visit your Daytona restaurant again.    UPDATE: Stonewood mgmt. contacted me with their heartfelt apologies and made this situation right. In spite of a disappointing Thanksgiving dinner, Stonewood is still the top notch restaurant we have known. I always recommend Stonewood to everyone as they are very consistent in their excellent food, variety on the menu and service. However, today (Thanksgiving) was a different story. Our server was very nice, however I made an early reservation at 3:30pm as we were looking forward to the Prime Rib they had promoted along with their turkey entree and wanted to make sure we were there early enough to have the Prime Rib before they ran out. We were totally disappointed that at 3:30pm there was NO Prime Rib available.
