   A fabulous experience. They were able to cater for our foodie needs (pescatarian, allium, shellfish, goat and sheep intolerances,! And then staff were very attentive without being invasive. Loved being in the conservatory as well. Had the tasting menu, with Amy hung wines, and it was utterly delicious.

   This is our favourite local restaurant. It never disappoints. We had the tasting menu and every course was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. Highlights this time we're the squash cannelloni and the chicken croquettes, the Lincolnshire Poacher and Marmite butter needs a mention too as we both enjoyed that. I'm not sure how they allocate the seating but I would like to be seated in the "conservatory" part of the restaurant occasionally rather than in the bar/kitchen area but I'm sure if we'd asked (we didn't) they would have accommodated us as it's that kind of place. Well be back soon.

   Another great meal at Stones. Food, service and ambience lovely. We found the music unnecessary and rather loud. We didn’t remember this from our previous visits. We are lucky to have such a high class restaurant in Matlock.

    This was a lovely lunch to celebrate two birthdays. The food was exceptional - every dish was a triumph. Service is great - attentive but not intrusive. We love Stones and will be back again as soon as we can. Thank you.
