   An overall good restaurant let down by a lady that greeted us. Upon arrival I  explained that my three yo son was a very, very fussy eater and I bought a snack him knowing that he had rejected their children’s menu in the past. The lady who clearly had limited experience with children became very distressed. I said that it was no problem and that there were plenty of child friendly restaurants in Oxford that we could visit instead at which point she said that she would make an exception and “allow“ us as if she was doing us some big favour. Despite good food and better onward service this welcome put a downer on the overall experience. We probably wouldn’t return.

   We have enjoyed our first visit and we will go again for sure. Everything was so delicious, we had some sushi and some meet as well. It was worth every penny you spent.

   A rare and interesting combination of Japanese and tapas style plates fused with Nordic simplicity in presentation. The menu has recently been refreshed and our pescatarian sushi and meaty sticks were perfectly balanced and flavourful. It is a lot more expensive than your standard sushi haunt and the desserts are not very interesting (yet overpriced) so you may have to head elsewhere for your post meal sweet craving.
