Stella’s Eatery is located in Waupoos, Prince Edward County. Keeping things simple and good, Leah Marshall Hannon prepares comfort food inspired by the fresh & seasonal ingredients sourced from our local farmers, and suppliers. The chalkboard menu allows us to change things up with the seasons, and the menu is subject to daily changes. Likewise with the wine & beer list. Enjoy a selection of delicious local and international natural wines, as well as local brews & ciders with your meal, or to go. Our dining room, tavern and patio seating offer a casual fine-dining experience, paired with warm service. We appreciate our community, farmers and suppliers, celebrate the availability of good locally-grown, organic & fantastic ingredients in Prince Edward County, and strive to continuously learn & discover more about the bounty nature has to offer.

The food here is so carefully composed, but never fussy or pretentious, just astoundingly delicious. We've enjoyed the best chicken liver pate and the best meringue we've ever eaten here. But also tried new flavours like thyme lemonade and trout rillette.

We arrived on a quiet Thursday in December and immediately noticed we were the only diners. The service, the ambience, the food, the drinks, EVERYTHING was TOP DRAWER. Not a single indication that we were the only ones there and might not get the best experience. It was fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We are regular visitors to Stella's Eatery and always come away fully satisfied and amazed at the talented chef and kitchen staff. We find the menu very interesting and unique with a strong reliance on locally sourced products. The staff is friendly and professional. A " must see" for anyone visiting PEC.

COUNTYLICOUS menu Excellent - chicken mousse superb Rainbow trout perfect DUCK confit OK - but not the best I’ve had. Great service. Stella’s is a County treasure

We enjoyed all the dishes from starters to desserts The wild rice risotto was spectacular as was the duck confit.

Great menu choices, pate was excellent, found the duck confit a bit to salty for my tastes and the dessert was good but very small. Overall really enjoy our Countyliscious experience.

Stella's Eatery is a quaint hidden gem away from the bustling main centres in the county but well worth the extra 10 minute drive! The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for on our girls getaway. The food was elevated with great flavors without being out-of-reach for the average diner. Loved the Countylicious menu and would try the à la carte menu on our next visit. Highly recommend!!

Everything was fabulous from the chicken mousse and amazing smoked trout fritters through the mushroom risotto and duck confit to the pumpkin tart all locally sourced and beautifully presented … best countylicious ever !!!
