Our server was excellent. I had the Hawaiian Chicken. One piece was tough as an old shoe (most likely overcooked). I let the server know and another piece of chicken was prepared, which was perfectly cooked. I had garlic mashed potatoes with the chicken meal instead of the rice. The potatoes were flavorless (needed more garlic and sale). I gave a lesser rating because of these issues. My husband had the pork meal, which he very much enjoyed. The salad bar is wonderful.

Service was excellent. Liked the ambience. Salad bar was good. Stuffed mushrooms were a highlight. But the entrees were poor to fair. Walleye was tasteless and dry, steak au poivre was flavorless and chewy with very little sauce, very poor quality. Ribs were good. Will not go back.

The meatball started was very good, salad bar was great , but a little disappointed in the prime rib, last time it was really tender this time a little tough. The service stated off good but declined once more people arrived. Could see our drinks waiting to be picked up from he bar for quit a long time.

So happy Steak & Ale is back! So incredibly good & the service was excellent! All the servers were attentive to their surroundings & many took care of us (not just our waiter who was fabulous )! His name was Lauro. I haven’t had w vice like this in years. For food we had the Hawaiian chicken & Almond crusted walleye. Large portions! Also, includes a small loaf of bread with pecan butter! Yum! Also, the entrees include the salad bar! Who has a salad bar anymore! The Steak & Ale does! They were also playing nice, dinner music. 60’s 70’s & 80’s. I loved it! Everyone needs to stop in for a meal. You won’t be disappointed!

Service was great, no bread givin to table, guests baked potato semi hot, salad bar best part of meal. Walleye overcooked and smelled like old oil. Steak was over seasoned . Had high hopes as use to be a huge fan, a little bit of a disappointment.

Worst experience! Made a reservation for a birthday dinner a month in advance, got seated and never saw anyone after that, someone brought bread to the table and no server ever showed up, no water, nothing! I was excited when Steak and Ale came back, but this place is an insult to the old one! We left after being ignored for 20 minutes and took our business elsewhere! We will never be back, and would absolutely recommend NOT wasting your time and money here!!!
