   The food was okay, but for us service is key. Staff was not very friendly or attentive. Our waitress didn’t smile once. We travel often and this place was for certain the least pleasant.

   The food at brunch was delicious and had good portions…chicken and biscuits, shrimp and grits, banana bread french toast and burrata. The ambience was elegant under the soaring stone ceilings of Union Station. The service was mediocre. No one came to refill water and our coffee and warm water were not served until we had to remind the waitress. Also the DJ playing club music during brunch kind of ruined the elegant atmosphere. It would have been more appropriate to play jazz music.

   Great dining environment. Wait staff was not great. Probably short staffed. Menu fairly limited. Two of our party of four were pleased with their meal, one found their meal to be okay, and one was disappointed with their meal. For the price there are better choices for downtown dining.

   Our experience at stationary was excellent! However, our experience with OpenTable was not. The last couple of times we have tried to reserve a restaurant open table shows nothing available when we call the restaurant there’s always availability. We will now call the restaurants for reservations. We had confirmation of our dinner reservations last night, and when we checked in the hostess did not have our NAME OpenTable have failed to send it I showed her our confirmation. We had no trouble being seated. Recently, we had reservations at a downtown Nashville restaurant-when we checked in the hostess failed to check us in and we received the rudest email from an OpenTable rep-we even had to prove we had been there by texting him a picture of our $200 receipt-also requesting an email from the restaurant that we had been there. I wish we had been able to contact someone from OpenTable last night, but we would not have been as rude as your representative was.!

   Brussels sprouts were great. Neither the salmon nor the trout were seasoned. The most bland unseasoned fish ever.

   Such a nice breakfast experience. The food was really good; the service was great. Everyone was super nice and made sure we had a great experience. It’s nice to have such a good place to dine within our hotel location.

    When we booked our reservation we were expecting a totally different dining experience. It had been years since we dined here, so were totally caught off guard by the changes. The actual location of the dining room was changed to a smaller area in the front of the hotel with a view of the street. We arrived early in order to enjoy cocktails at the bar, which turned out to be an epic fail. The lobby bar area was swarming with loud mouthed tourists and was outfitted with an air hockey table, not something I would have expected in what I remembered to be an elegant venue. In order to get a drink, you were required to stand in line and order yourself at the bar -- there were at least 20 people in line ahead of us and one harried bartender and no place to sit. Ridiculous!! In the actual dining room there was a small bar and a bartender who basically had nothing to do. The whole vibe was just bizarre. We ordered two cocktails, $18 for my martini and $26 for my husband's old fashioned, a total rip-off (the price was not listed on the menu). After finishing our drinks and waiting forever for someone to take our order (not sure where they found these servers who were definitely not pros in any sense), we bailed. We were able to get a reservation at another restaurant and salvaged our evening. Would never consider returning.
