Station 87 is located in the Original Meaford Firehall. Whether you’re craving a homemade pizza or a pint, Station 87 welcomes you. Join us on the main level or upper-level dining room where you can enjoy our menu inspired by seasonal flavours. Join us on the rooftop patio, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Downtown Meaford. For more intimate gatherings, our private wine cellar offers a unique experience. The wine cellar is located in the lower level, where legend says, the firefighters of 1887 gathered and drank libations of their own.

Our Market side evokes a European marketplace. Service was poor, switched servers to our table, long delays in delivering drinks from the bar, they were putting up decorations around us during dinner at 5pm, the servers were carrying large food trays over some of our heads to get to the upper floor, asked about specials for New Years and were told there were none and then heard the server offer specials later to other customers, had to chase down the bill. Food was reasonable quality. Overall, this restaurant is not operating very well from a service level, disappointing experience for a premium priced dinner.

Delightful experience. Seating is comfortable and acoustics not bad considering a room full of patrons. Menu is extensive with inviting choices. Service good but entrees were long time. Pizza and pasta good. Duck unusual, tasted like ham. Wouldn’t repeat that. Salads good. Caesar impressive table side presentation. Fungi salad didn’t need honey or the pizza. Otherwise good. Next time will specify to not have sweetened savoury food. Very pleasant waitress and chat with proprietor. It will be a ‘go to’ spot!

Great selection of food. And everyone was very happy with their order. All the staff was friendly and attentive. Great ambience and lovely place to enjoy a nice meal and catching up with friends. Can’t wait to try the upper levels.

Everything was good. I ordered the duck entree which was tasty along with the mashed potatoes. The bok choy vegetable was nothing special. A better vegetable choice would have elevated the meal overall. Cocktails were tasty and service was good but it didn’t feel like a fine dining experience.

Great atmosphere and good food. I prefer crispier fries, otherwise, good was good. Our waitress, Ashley, made the experience great. Our calamari came straight from the kitchen and a very polite man proudly served us and kindly warned us of the hot skillet. Our main course arrived very soon afterwards and our waitress apologized profusely.,. we did not card at all! the mock tail was very tasty as was the wine, the fact that when i called to make a reservation and was told to go on line to book, seemed very odd, not to mention cumbersome as a patron. not sure why the person answering the phone couldn’t take the reservation, but probably a kink in the system i will definitely be back to try other menu items that looked fantastic!
