Our waitress was a little rigid and felt very off putting. We had a table sit after us that got food and drinks before we even had water brought to the table. But aside from that the food was amazing. Steaks were like butter. Everything was very well done.

The good stuff...service was excellent, shoestring fries with garlic aoli was tasty and the strawberry shortcake was adorable (think, 'Is it cake'). But, I was so disappointed with my steak. For $121, you would think it would melt in your mouth. Instead, it had so much gristle, I found myself spitting out most of mine. Since I was going to a concert, I didn't have time to send it back for a new one. I don't mind paying the money for a great steak and I was so hopeful. The mac and cheese was just, meh. I won't be going back again.

My spouse and I had dinner here before a show and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was refined and remarkably quiet. The staff was exceptional and helped us select a perfect set of dishes to share. We loved the French onion soup dumplings, but I have to say my favorite starter was the black truffle ribeye cheesesteak slider. Just wow. For our main course we shared the Pretty in Pink filet with the butter whipped potatoes. I left wanting just one more bite of that steak. Overall we felt Stanton lived up to the hype and was well worth the money. I’d love to return with friends and dig into that tomahawk steak.

Being local I expected a little better experience for such high-end pricing. The restaurant decor is nice and the music is fun. The menus are beautiful. We tried 4 appetizers on the menu and all were pretty good. I think if we’d had meat it may have been better. The famous French onion soup bites - eat while it’s hot before the cheese congeals. It’s a neat concept served in an escargot plate. The smoked salmon wafers were extremely salty and the salmon was super oily. Our favorite were the $17 truffle ribeye sliders were good and rich but the homemade potato chips that came with them were also salty. We each got one. My spicy tequila cocktail with a lightly salted foam was good! Bathroom is nice and the hallway to the bathroom is super cool! However, as for the service we had to ask for our waitress three times for various things. There were plenty of tables open at that point. I might try this again but no time soon. My hope is that they correct these issues. I’m a cheerleader for my home town - Las Vegas.
