From the OpenTable editors: After years of fine dining on the Strip, James Beard semifinalist Brian Howard took the party to Chinatown, and opened his own restaurant Sparrow + Wolf in 2017. A globally inspired menu of wood-fired cooking includes dishes like fresh-baked sourdough, hand-rolled pasta, and innovate plates of seafood. With a dramatic black-and-gold space, a monster mural of a wolf, and late night entertainers, it’s just the right amount of Vegas.

    If a 12 out of 10 rating was a thing that is what I would give this amazing experience. We ordered oxtail hummus, eye of rib & the black pepper honey pork. Our dessert was the strawberry cream puff. It is impossible to pick your favorite as each is its own masterpiece of flavor. Additionally, the service was impeccable.

    Great food and super experience sitting at the bar chatting with the bartenders. Very knowledgeable about the food served. The La tura is outstanding. As was everything we had.

    It was our second timing eating there over the past year and, just like the first time, the meal was spectacular. Easily one of the 5 best restaurants we’ve ever been to, despite being very unassuming from the outside. If we lived here, we would be here ALL THE TIME.

    My wife and I went last night for our anniversary dinner and chose to do the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The dishes delicious with complex flavors. The wines chosen to pair with the various plates were some that I would have never chosen otherwise, however they all worked perfectly with their food pairings. Great ambience and the staff are top notch.

    Food good but hot items served cold. Portions were tiny. Service was inconsistent. Wine steward was trying hard to push a mediocre wine as if it was incredible. Not a good experience.

    Every dish we ordered was fantastic. Oxtail hummus, Beef Tartare, Japanese Madai, Hearts of Palm, the duck appetizer were all beautifully plated and the flavors were fantastic. Main dishes Pork Secreto, Octupus, Lamb chops and Fish were also very good. Sweet potatoe vegetable was certainly different. Drinks were great. Our server Ruby was knowledgeable, friendly and of course gorgeous (yes I know that shouldn’t matter but I just had to mention it). Drinks were great as well. Been waiting 2 years to try this place.
