   Southern Kitchen has expanded! The new space has been designed with perfection and uniquely allows for a wonderful dining experience. The menu continues to please with the expected food and drink options. Our server Zyona was exceptional and a great addition to the team! Congrats on nailing it!

   This is an amazing place - unknown to us before trying on Valentine's Day. The inside space is elegant and inviting, with table spacing that allows quiet and private conversation. Service is attentive but not overbearing, with occasional visits by the manager. Bar drinks were surprisingly tasty and original - we had the Shanes Strawberry Lemonade and Bloody Mary. We tried the Apple Pecan Salad, Shrimp 'n Grits, and Southern Cajun Pasta. If you're a fan of shrimp - both entrees had some of the best we've ever had. They were crunchy, juicy, spicy and plentiful. The pasta dish wasn't overly saucy and loaded with shrimp and fresh crabmeat. We can't wait to go back!

   We had a early Valentine Day dinner and from the time we got there until the time we left we had a really good experience. The service was top tier and the food was a 10/10. the drinks were good and flavorful. We were too full for dessert. How ever we plan to bring our moms back for Mother's Day and we will leave room for dessert or at least get it to go. I'm glad they are in a bigger space with parking. We will be back.

   Food was excellent. Waitress was very nice but not very attentive. No drink refills were offered. My husband finally asked for a tea refill and it came after the check was paid and we were ready to leave. We got fried chicken, sweet potatoes,fried cabbage (a little sweet for our liking but still good), mashed potatoes, gravy, black eyed peas with stewed tomatoes and fried chicken liver and onions which was very tasty. All good but I felt super expensive. The total cost of the meal was almost 100$ including tip. That is a lot for 2 people.

   The only available time for a reservation was 8:30. Only to find out the kitchen closed at 8:30. We wanted Turkey wings and Short Ribs which were bought unavailable. Need less to say we didn't enjoy our second choices Bake chicken and Meatloaf. We were told to come earlier next time. Ok

    The restaurant was pretty and the food was good, however it was expensive. Single serving sides were $7 each which is a lot for vegetables. We had a little wait for our server to come to our table but she was friendly and competent. I would go there again.
