Southern Kitchen, which is known as "The Mouth of the South" to the locals, serves up comfort food favorites. From collard greens to fried fish and chicken, the eatery provides a comfortable, relaxed spot for enjoying classic Southern food, beer, and wine for lunch, and dinner. Since opening in 2014, the restaurant has focused on providing good food paired with a classy experience and great customer service. Southern Kitchen features a variety of options for starting the meal, including fried oysters, fried okra, southern rolls, and salad. Enjoy sandwiches like the salmon cake and chicken club, or dive into some apple pecan salad, fried fish, big momma's chicken, and chicken livers and onions.     I have visited the Stony Point location twice recently and I love this restaurant. There is a warm inviting feeling when you walk in the door. The decor is beautiful and the service was excellent. The food was delicious with plentiful portions. It has an awesome vibe and you’ll love the festive holiday decorations. Nice private space available too.

    What a delightful restaurant! Our server,JT was delightful. Our food was delicious! Our drink order was delivered slower than expected because there was only one bartender and the bar and restaurant were full. Definitely recommend a reservation. We were early and they were unable to seat us. But much to her credit, the hostess suggested we head to the bar. I can’t tell you how many restaurants I have you ASK if I can go to the bar. As we were leaving, we met the owner who made sure we had a pleasant experience. I complimented their food…and ladies room, which was clean I decorated so lovely!

    Our service was impeccable, food was excellent and love the ambiance of the new location! First time at Stony Point location but not to the Southern Kitchen Experience !

    Great food. Been going there weekly for the last 2 months. However, we keep getting the same waiter and he’s not attentive at all. Takes forever for him to acknowledge us, drinks take a while to come and he never refills our sweet tea. We have to ask for it ourselves prior to being checked out.
