It’s all about a different atmosphere. It’s about good food. It’s about good service and attention to detail. There’s a reason Sous Le Nez is renowned in Leeds. In fact, our award-winning basement bar and bistro – in a handy, city centre location – has been providing mouth-watering food to Leeds diners since 1991. Our wine list is as unique as it is extensive, and our lunchtime and evening menus are creative and very popular.

Booked the table the night before, we were welcomed with courtesy, dealt with efficiently and pleasantly by all members of staff the food was well presented and tasted delicious for all three courses. We had the early bird menu, the house red wine was also excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant has always been great every time I have visited, out of other restaurants I visit in Leeds, this has to be my favourite.

My favourite French restaurant in Leeds. You walk in, you're sat down with your drinks until a waiter/waitress comes over to collect your drinks and takes you to your table. We were not kept waiting at any point. The service runs like clock-work and everyone is very polite. The food is to die for. Although on the steeper side, price wise, it's worth it. One of us will always have the French Onion Soup and it's so full of flavour... I'm going to attempt to make my own at home. My partner had the steak at £50 and he said it was the best steak he'd ever eaten. I had the lamb rump and the fat was perfectly rendered and nicely crisp on the outside resulting is excellent flavour. Although the Crem Brulee is the cheapest option on the dessert menu, it's my absolute favourite. This is the second time we've eaten here and it won't be the last. I can see us coming every for every birthday celebration we have and we are always raving about it to others!

Cozy relaxed yet upscale restaurant. Food piping hot and a menu for all. The wine is good for all tastes and fine wine correctly presented. (decanted offered) Mature couple visiting the area - we hope to return.
