   I found this restaurant through several viral TikTok videos—the food looked amazing, and The Source had plenty of brunch reservations available, which was perfect since I was booking last minute. My sister and I had never been before, and when the reservation asked us to choose between bar, counter, or hightop, we weren’t sure what to expect. We chose “counter,” only to find ourselves seated at a narrow ledge facing a window—more like a coffee shop setup than a restaurant. It felt cramped and uncomfortable. I asked the host if we could move, and he told us we could sit at the bar or outside (however, it was cold). We noticed several open tables in the back, but when my sister inquired about them, the host responded rudely. At that point, we considered leaving, but decided to stay and sit at the bar. The woman bartender asked if we wanted drinks, and my sister ordered an espresso martini. She asked whether my sister wanted it with or without Baileys, and when my sister asked for clarification, the bartender responded passive-aggressively and condescendingly, as if it was something everyone should know. Later, when my sister asked a simple question about the Margherita pizza, the bartender again responded in the same tone, saying, “That’s what a Margherita pizza is. You can just get a cheese pizza,” instead of just answering the question. Being someone that frequents different restaurants…not every restaurant makes items in the same way… To top it off, the pizza wasn’t even that great—pretty bland and forgettable. The whole experience felt disappointing. As a leader in the field of education, also a field rooted in service, I understand how far patience and genuine kindness can go. Despite all the TikTok hype, the lack of hospitality here really soured the visit. Go anywhere else but here..

   Eaten here before and really enjoyed the pizza - however, this time it was overly saucy. Not terrible but not outstanding. And for a mid-priced restaurant the requirement for a credit card with a reservation - and a 24 hour cancellation policy - seems a bit excessive.

   Our group of 5 enjoyed our meal and ordered several items. Our favorite included the chicken parm made with their garlic knot, as well as the pepperoni pizza.

   The Seasonal Greens salad was delicious with a very nice tasting dressing. The Whipped Ricotta - with prosciutto added - was yummy. I would get both of them again. My husband said that the Pork Schnitzel was the best he's ever had. We also got the arancini, which was good but small. The main downside was that the serving of wine was probably the smallest pour I've ever received in a restaurant - and I got the full glass ($14), not the half glass, which is an option.

   Love source! Always a favorite. Brussels Sprouts were magnificent as always and the Tuscan kale pizza was great as well.
