So, you can’t cook like Nonna? We’ve got you covered. Like his ancestors, Chef Enrico feels that food should be simple and made “farmer style,” with fresh, seasonal ingredients. All of our menu items are prepared with care in the traditional Italian fashion. Sauces are simmered for hours allowing for a true emersion of flavours. Similarly, our pizza dough is prepared in advance and allowed two days to rise — this grants that the yeast will complete its full growth cycle, creating a lighter meal. As Italian cuisine is so diverse, seasonal changes will be made to our menu; be sure to keep an eye out for new items, as well as old favourites.

As is at home, our food is best enjoyed when shared family style, like the typical Italian dinner table.

First time and impression: great atmosphere in terms of ambience and busy crowd. Food was very fulfilling and tasty (loved the Caserecce e Tartufo). Will come again.

The food was delicious, especially the caprichosa pizza. The cocktails are also pretty good. The service was stellar, and we really enjoyed our time there. It’s one of our go-to spots.

Great food, our waiter was great, but coming in for our reservation on time, and watching four other reservations of two ( same as ours ) come in and get seated before us while we waited for 15 minutes before we finally got seated was a bit disappointing. Wish the front staff gave us a reason as to why that happened, instead of having to wait 15 minutes into our reservation only to be told when finally seated that we have a 90 minute seating time that had 15 minutes taken off it already thanks to something that wasn’t our fault. Oh well. Food was great though.

Took a chance on this place for Valentine’s Day. Wanted to suprise my gf, who is extremely picky btw, and Sopra Sotto had reservations late enough for our plans. We were pleasantly suprised by how lively it was at 10:30pm. Happy hour drinks were fair, olives are warm and delicious, and the diavola pizza was giving me flashbacks to Italy. At the end of our dinner the manager came over and politely asked if we would like our Polaroid taken. So cute. My gf was a happy camper that I actually made a plan for date night and suprised her with a place she enjoyed. Give it a chance, you won’t be disappointed.
