Creative, surprising and delicious food, attentive and friendly service and amazing wine flight. However at this price point everything has to be perfect and the venue itself doesn’t quite work - it was humid and smelt a bit strange when we entered. Fix the venue and 5 stars for sure

The tasting menu and service were fabulous! Many unique and wonderful courses. The sommelier Mohamed was not only personal but amazing in recommending great wines that exceeded our expectations. SOLA provides a truly memorable experience on all levels and a restaurant that we’ll revisit the next time we’re in London!

Amazing food! Every dish held a different surprise. Each one a work of art, stunning presentation and packed with incredible flavours. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. A real treat and would love to visit again.

I have been to a few Michelin star restaurants but £840 for an average meal for two with a mediocre wine pairing was absolutely ridiculous. The menu on the website is not what was offered and most of the dishes lacked flavour and depth. Fanfare with meals should compliment the mind blowing flavours of the dish where your tastebuds are taken on a journey not to hide mediocracy of the dishes. Now the wine pairing was equally disappointing and lacklustre. The only good thing about our experience is the quality of the service which was great and attentive. I definitely will not be returning to Solasoho.

It's hard to leave a view when you're left speechless.. Let's start with the welcome - front of house staff dressed in uniform cream, each with their own defined and welcoming personality; no pressure to go for the tasting menu, but when you're told that it 'just keeps coming,' it's hard to resist. An informed sommelier tells you that the wine list changes each week and are responsibly sourced - this adds to the mix. And then the dishes do indeed keep coming - and what dishes they are. Victor Garvey is in many ways a summation of all the great restaurants in which he's worked - French Laundry, El Bulli etc.. This is, for me, the best place no just in London, but Europe... and it's just getting started...
