Beautiful evening…the food, service and ambiance were outstanding! Highly recommend Sol Y Sombra for anyone who’s searching for exceptional Spanish cuisine!! Especially, because Spanish food is VERY hard to find in the desert.

We have been there before and was disappointed this time. Ordered their top shelf margaritas and it was very weak. They brought us a little more alcohol at no charge. The empanadas were dry and the Paella was mostly rice. 4 shrimp, one for each of us and small pieces of chicken and whatever the other ingredient was. We like the ambience of the restaurant but will not go back.

This was a new find for us on this trip and our favorite part was that it was different. It is a slightly different feel and has different menus options than most restaurants in the area. We loved ordering a handful of different Tapas for the table and splitting!

Service was amazing. We came to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. All the food leading up to paella was delicious and full of flavor. The paella was very bland missing saffron or taste. Would try again in case it was a one off. Food that we would recommend: gambas al ajillo, pan con tomate and tablets. The cheesecake was out of this world.

Service is great. But there’s so few people there they can’t help but be on top of you constantly. The paella you’re probably best to get the seafood one. Because if they’re gonna overcook anything, it’ll be the shrimp and nothing else. The other paella, they overcook the chicken till it’s rock hard as well as Support. Also hours are not consistent and confusing
