   This place was a pleasant surprise. Vegan options were available at this all Gluten Free restaurant. The inside was very cool and the staff very friendly. Our dishes were awesome and atmosphere was very chill. Free parking was a plus and a brewery is next door for entertainment. Debbie was very nice and gave us the history of the restaurant. We will come back next time in town.

   We opted for the 4 dish prix fix menu and it did not disappoint, each one was well balanced and tasty. For us this was a first visit and not the last.

   SOL is a gem! We savoured our meal enjoying a delicious cup of French onion soup and melt in your mouth filet mignon with unique veggie sides of radish and chard! The flavours were incredible. The wine lovely. The food is locally sourced and organic which reflects the commitment to quality and local farmers. It’s a small, cozy spot tucked on 22nd Avenue with ample free parking. Staff go above and beyond with “unreasonable hospitality”. Kudos to the executive chef Debbie!

   My husband and I came across Sol while searching for an open reservation last minute on a Friday night in a specific area because we were walking to meet friends. We got the last one :) We didn’t have any expectations other than to eat but WOW. We were both blown away but what an amazing experience Sol was. It’s quiet and peaceful in an intentional way, which we love that we can hear each other talk. The service - is what you expect at an expensive fine dining restaurant - the staff is amazing. Not only did they steer us in the right direction when it came to food, but they give the right amount of time between check ins, cleared the table quickly between courses, kept our glasses full and provided lovely conversation. They love working here and it really shows. Best service of any restaurant in Tampa Bay Area. Hands down. And we’ve been to almost all of them ! Oh and lastly - it’s vegan, gluten and seed free. Which we are are not but damn, this food was excellent.

    As always, Sol was an amazing experience from start to finish. My partner and I were there for our anniversary and it was not only acknowledged by the staff but they provided a celebration drink on them. The food was amazing, the server was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and our allergies and food restrictions were attended to with care. If I could give more stars I would! It’s truly my favorite restaurant in St. Pete.
