   We ordered the grilled sweet corn appetizer. It looked "odd" when it arrived, not plated well I guess. The server asked us if they prepared it tableside and they did not. She brought another one and prepared it table side (which seemed to be just shaving the corn off the cob). This is not specified on the menu. It tasted good though. We also enjoyed the shrimp chile relleno, chicken quesadilla , el volcan and some tacos. service was just too slow! This is a common complaint on OpenTable. If you can't give top-notch service to your customers you should seat less people! We had a reservation and were sat timely. Twice we had food runners deliver food/drinks to us that wasn't for our table.

   The waitress was super overwhelmed and slow. Table side guac was the worst guacamole we’ve ever had—avocados were hard as rocks. Half the order came out wrong. We won’t be back.

   The dinner was good but the service, particularly the food, was very slow. Not just for us but generally.

   First time and wasn’t super impressed. Restaurant didn’t seem busy. We didn’t see a waiter or got our drinks till 30 min after we arrived. Food was ok…a bit bland. Barley saw our waiter all night. Reservation at 6:45, we didn’t leave till 8:40.. all we had was one margarita, chips and queso and me and my friend split a quesadilla which was not good. Won’t mind not coming here again.

   I had a poor highly anticipated experience at SOL. To start, I chose to visit on a Monday night knowing that it would be slower and more quiet. I was seated at the table right by the opening of the kitchen/dish pit area, which I requested to be moved and they were able to accommodate. Once our food arrived we were enjoying the meal and about 15ish minutes later the server brought our check. My wife and I still had more than half our food on our plates, my margarita still full and my wife with a full glass of wine. To us, we felt that the server was rushing us out. No dessert offered, nothing just given the check. I would have ordered more drinks and food had this not happened. The manager came over offering his apologies, but to us this wasn’t a remedy as we felt so awkward and uncomfortable being there any longer. We packed our food in to go boxes and left.

   We have been visiting SOL for many times living in Socal. This was first time we visited Denver location and it was disaster for family reunion dinner. We placed the order which took 1 hour to arrive on table that is also after asking status on food. The food was not customized as requested so we have to wait again for another 30 min. Then we got food finally and it was too late. We had reserved table at 7 pm. Got dinner at 8:30 and left at 9:15 from long day. This place is not busy like how it is in California still we got food delayed and low quality. The tortillas for taco were dry and the food was not to the taste. I would recommend not to visit them if you have same or higher expectations like other SOL locations you have visited.

   The service was good, however, we were seated at a table near the entry way and had to move due to the draft from the doors as we felt the freezing cold air very time some went in or out. The food choices were extensive and our servers was very attentive

    This is my fourth time eating at Sol. Was blown away the first time. But, the quality has dipped as the cost has risen. So, I can no longer recommend.
