Came to Sofia’s for Valentine’s day and it did not disappoint! We started with drinks and got a lavender haze and sofia’s old fashioned. Lavender Haze was beautiful, and my kind of drink, simple and refreshing. The old fashioned was a bit too strong for our liking. Next we got the poplette, came with three of the highest quality meatballs I’ve ever tried and I’m a pretty big meatball lover. Tasted like just pure meat, with very minimal filler. The tomato sauce was pretty good, just basic tomato nothing special, but did complement the meatballs well. Next we got the piccante pizza because I heard it was spicy. This was probably my favorite dish. Beautiful combination of flavors. I’m not a big ricotta person, but it paired wonderfully with the other ingredients. Not too spicy at all. Finally, we got the Radiatore alla Vodka, now THIS was spicy. I had to eat even slower than I usually eat to keep it from overpowering the flavor. I’d say the spice was a bit overwhelming and not as complementary in this dish. Still quite good. Last time we came (1.5 years ago) we got the Cacio e pepe, and I think I enjoyed that pasta far more. As of now, the dishes I would never dare skip out on at Sofia’s, would be the piccante pizza and the cacio e pepe. You cannot get either dish as good elsewhere, so these are must try’s in my opinion.

Overall, just okay. The pizza was great! The Cacio e Pepe was mediocre, I’ve had better. The house salad was good but we found a piece of plastic in it, maybe Saran Wrap? When we told our server about it she didn’t say a single word, just took the plate and we later got a new salad. Didn’t apologize or anything. Honestly our server was the worst part of the experience. Barely spoke, not friendly at all. They did take the salad off the bill so we didn’t get charged. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Love Sofia every time, food is great people are nice but it is so damn loud! The poor server had to shout back and forth with us. I would say it was just busy that night, which it was, but have had this experience before!

Atmosphere was great. The food was spectacular. The portions appeared to be small, but they were very filling and outstanding quality

Good food, professional service, outside dining feels as if you’re in the street … not ambiance ideal for fine meal.

Tiberius, our server, is top notch. He's engaging & frequently inquiring of our needs. The kitchen was slow today @brunch. But Tiberius charms you while you wait. We'll be back.

I wouldn't recommend sitting outside. We were too close to the street as cars drove by.
