   A wonderful weekend lunch with the family. Excellent service and delicious food. Great selection on the menu! Perfect for small intimate ate numbers or larger parties!

   Hmmmm. Not bad. Not that great either. So pies……all meat pies they usually have, were all unavailable. Limited menu anyway. Two desserts unavailable too. It was a tad chilly. Everything was just about “ok” but nothing more than that sadly. Not been for 10 years there. Probably won’t be returning in the short term. NOW…. The Cat in West Hoathly…… that’s a different matter altogether

   I really couldn’t fault anything. Cheerful friendly staff, excellent potion size at reasonable prices, good ambience and temperature. Really excellent all round. We’ll be back.

   Superb!!!! Excellent tasty food, brilliant service, lovely ambience and the team really looked after us. It was my son's 18th birthday and we really appreciated the extra touches - thanks for a great evening!

   Please see my TripAdvisor Review for full details, but in summary, the restaurant was freezing (needed to keep coats on - in November!), my first and my Steak and Stilton Pie (3rd choice) was actually a Vegetarian Pie!! Absolute shambles.
