We went there for dinner before going to the boxing match. This was our second time visiting Slahal. This time we decided to order the * USDA Prime Dry-Aged Bone-in Swinging Tomahawk Ribeye 32oz for two. It was served table side with a little conversation and a show. My wife and I thought the show was surprisingly entertaining and so did the rest of the other tables, as most people were watching us. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. My wife and I usually have leftovers but not this time. That steak was excellent. It came with blistered tomatoes, potatoes, asparagus, and some type of weird bread. Some of the potatoes were a little bit too charred for my liking but that wasn’t a big problem. Our waiter Sam was on point and extremely attentive, polite, efficient, knowledgeable about the menu, and seemed to ensure that we had a pleasant dining experience by taking our order accurately, serving the food promptly, addressing any of our needs or concerns, and maintaining a positive attitude. We were given a table by the window, so the atmosphere and the view were 5 stars! The only other small issue I had (very small) was the steak didn’t seem like it was a full 32 ounces. However, it was so good, maybe my wife and I just ate it too fast. LOL We had dinner in Vegas at the Gordan Ramsey Steakhouse and paid double what we paid here. The Gordan Ramsey steakhouse was such a joke and couldn’t hold a candle to the experience, service, and food we had at the Slahal. My wife also had two glasses of wine (excellent), and I had two whiskey sours (excellent). We decided at the last minute to have dessert and the CARAMEL CRÈME BRÛLÉE was great! We never order dessert so that tells you how good our experience was here. The fights were boring, but our experience here saved our date night! We will be coming back again, and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Be prepared to spend a little bit of money but it was well worth it. 5 stars!

celebrated my birthday and anniversary here and brought my 3 year old too! what we ordered: 1. kids cheeseburger w/ fries: 8/10– brioche bun was delicious, buttery, crispy edges and soft buns. cheese was melted and the burger were cooked perfectly. fries were also good. wish it came with a fry sauce. the option to have lettuce and tomatoes would have made it a 10/10. 2. baked brie starter: 7/10 bc the phyllo dough was burnt on some parts, otherwise it was yummy but i wouldn’t get it again. if it came with more fruit i would get it again. 3. slahal salad: 6/10, it was good but it was mostly arugula. i wish it came with more of the toppings! it lacked the bleu cheese crumbles, candied walnuts and the bacon lardon. it is a HUGE portion though. i def only ate 1/4th of it. 4. chilean sea bass: 8/10– so good but by the time this came out i was full. i would get it again. it was cooked perfectly and i loved the crispy taro on top. 5. my husband got the rib eye: 9/10, he got it medium and it was cooked perfectly. it came with a salad, he chose caesar and it was a 8/10. i tried the steak and the veggies it came with and the veggies were yummy, acidic, salty, not mushy. 6. crispy brussel sprouts: 9/10 crunchy, salty, acidic and just delightful. would get this again. 7. garlic mashed potatoes 5/10: could’ve done without this. it’s a huge portion and was not seasoned. wish it had more garlic. 8. free desserts for my bday that were meh 3/10, i feel like they were just random frozen petit fours from costco. they made it cool by adding a dry ice bath in the middle to create a “smoky” dish. however i had a bite of each one and they were all stale. they also put each dessert on top of a huge amount of mango & berry sauce which overpowered each dessert so maybe that’s why i didn’t really taste anything but that, overall it was meh. 9. also the free bread basket that was warm with the salted butter was absolutely delicious. i almost asked for another serving to take home.

I don’t mind paying for a good steak but this one was not up to par. Very little seasoning and it was tough.

It was NY Eve so it was busy. Late reservations for 10pm, but they were running behind (totally understandable) so by 1015 we didn't have a table so we asked to sit in the bar, no problem. The bar only has a few tables so service was good. Our server was great. Appetizer, entree and drinks were great. Steakhouse quality and service. The cool thing was the outdoor balcony overlooking the city with seating and fire pits, super cool. Right next to the bar so you could wander out while waiting, after dinner, before dinner, anytime. We stayed til midnight and watched numerous firework shows from the balcony. Super cool. I was shocked there weren't more people, only about 15 people. Room for 50+ so the word is not out yet. I would do it again next year. Great food, vibe, service and atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised considering it didn't start out great with a no table ready at 1015 with 10pm reservations. Again, totally understandable because the restaurant only has so many tables to sit people, and if people don't leave then others have to wait. It's not Red Robin. The bill was $150 which includes 10% tax and $25 tip. I had prawns linguine, girl had prawn and scallops, 2 appetizers. Wedge salad and something hot with artichoke, and one glass of wine.

Our New Years Eve dinner started out pretty good with our bread then salads coming out like normal time frame. But then our entree took a super long time. The two top table next to the two of us ordered there entrees after us and they got they got there dinners and finished them by the time we finally got our dinners! My wife got tie scallops and I got the sea bass, both of these are not entrees that take long to cook at all. So overall we were very disappointed in our dinner! Our total dining time was 2 hours. Extra 30 min. longer than it should have been. However, we did have a pre-dinner drink in the lounge and that was very nice!

We had an excellent New Year’s Eve dinner. We started by sharing a lobster bisque which was very tasty. Then salad and warm rolls. We both ordered rib eyes which were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Side dishes were mashed potatoes and asparagus. The finality was a delicious chocolate mousse cake. Service was friendly. While they were booked full, we never felt rushed.
