   Absolutely love the sky blue tavern, been there a few times with family and booked again in November, the food is so lovely

   Great food at a good price. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent place for some food and watch the football.

   This is our second time here as the food is outstanding, my daughter said it’s the best curry she’s ever had ! The think that let’s it down is the service. When we arrived I said to the waitress that we had a table booked, she mumbled just sit anywhere. There is no explanation or on the menu that you need to go to the bar to order. We went to the bar and waited and waited, everyone else was getting served their drinks but no food orders seem to be being taken ? Eventually the young man (mixed race so you know who I mean ) was so apologetic and he took our order. He seemed to be doing everything, the bar, bringing food, checking food order was ok. He’s a credit to this place.

   This is jot just a sports bar serving food! The food is excellent and even if not a football or especially Coventry fan you should go if want a great Indian food experience. Choice is excellent and quality high. Drinks prices reasonable. If not already go try it.

   This was a returning visit due to the first experience being exceptional. I messaged ahead of time previously to confirm that they could accommodate for a vegan requirement, they confirmed so and the experience was delicious. They had so many vegan options on the menu which were not highlighted but pointed out to me. However, this time I ordered the exact same meal and it came out with a product containing egg, luckily I recognised this prior to eating. The manager was great but stated that their ingredients had not changed when they clearly had and the waitress confirmed that she had served me before and remembered me. They replaced the meal with a basic dhal which was disappointing. Also at the same time we had ordered tandoori roti’s with one without butter, they all came out together with butter and when queried they wanted me to physically pass one roti back to them to replace it with a non buttered one, I thought this was petty and when said so the waitress said that she had been instructed to by the manager. As a good will gesture they didn’t charge me for my dhal, which was nice. We are due to return again because we booked a couple of times from the first visit, but I am thinking of going elsewhere now. The staff are so lovely, but there’s not enough of them to manage a Saturday night crowd. The decor is amazing and the showing of football is great and the FIFA gaming is a fab touch which my boys loved. Please sort your vegan menu out so we can keep coming!

   The food was amazing, as it is every time I have been. My favourite place for Indian food in Coventry. The mixed grill is the best I’ve had, so much flavour.

   Fantastic curry and Fantastic venue. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We came up from South Wales and 2 of our group hadn't been to the Tavern before and were very impressed. To cap it all we had selfies with Dave Bennett who was there.

   Food is fantastic and inexpensive. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Venue itself is great.

   The food was excellent and the service was very quick with staff being friendly and helpful . The only downside was the slippy floor

    The food was outstanding and such good value for money. The atmosphere was good lots of TVs if you want to watch the football. The only negative was the service. When we arrived the young girl behind the bar was lovely very welcoming. Not the same for the staff at the tables. We had to ask to order, then when they brought the poppadoms, no plates. We asked again to order our main, bought main no cutlery had to ask again. We found them rude and that we were annoying them by asking. Would definitely return as the food was great.
